Rogers is celebrating its 140th anniversary in 2021! To coincide with the commemoration of this event, the Rogers Historical Museum is sponsoring a digital photograph contest, “Rogers Life in 2021”. The contest opens March 15, 2021 and ends April 23, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. CDT.
Members of the public are invited to enter by submitting up to three original photographs, taken within the Rogers city limits since January 1, 2021, capturing what life in Rogers is like in 2021. The winning photograph will be announced May 10, 2021 online at rogershistoricalmuseum.org and the Rogers Historical Museum’s Facebook and Instagram pages. |
"This contest gives the people of our community the opportunity to share their unique personal visual insights to what life is like in Rogers in 2021 with the future. Photographs are windows into the past, framing a particular perspective of a specific moment in time. They show us details that often written stories alone cannot capture.”
