The Rogers Historical Museum invites kids of all ages to join us every other Tuesday in June and July for our Kids Craft Corner summer program. Together we will explore four different themes related to our area’s history by engaging in a lesson presented by museum staff or special guest speakers and then creating a fun theme-related craft.
Kids Craft Corner is a free event, but online registration is required per child for each session. Registration is only required for children, but parents/guardians are asked to stay with their children. Each session will be held in the Key Wing Education Center at the Rogers Historical Museum.
Tuesday, July 16th, 9a.m.-12p.m.
Soap Carving
The art of carving wood has been around for thousands of years. Artists have crafted pieces all over the world, including here in Rogers! This July, join the Rogers Historical Museum as it partners with the Woodcarvers Club of NWA as they share their woodcarving skills. Then afterwards, use your new skills to create your own carved masterpiece out of a bar of soap!

While downtown Rogers was not built in a day, a lot of it was designed by the same architect, A.O. Clarke. Learn about the local architect and the buildings he helped design across Northwest Arkansas. Afterwards, become an architect like A.O. Clarke and create your own miniature buildings to take home!
