Grant Award for Rocky Branch ProgramFor over 20 years the Rogers Historical Museum has partnered with the Rocky Branch Schoolhouse Preservation group to provide an all-day program at the Historic Rocky Branch Schoolhouse for local public school and home school children from 1st grade to 7th grade. Our educators dress in period appropriate costume, while the students learn lessons from the turn-of-the-century, play with old fashioned toys at lunch, and partake in a spelling bee.
Thanks to the Rogers Historical Museum Foundation the Museum was awarded a grant from the Chlorox Company for this popular program. |
