Time CAPSULE
written reflections

What is living in Rogers like for you in 2021?

Picture
Be a part of Rogers history! Rogers is celebrating its 140th anniversary in 2021. To commemorate this event, the Rogers Historical Museum, in partnership with the City of Rogers, is creating a time capsule.

We invite members of our community to share a short, written personal reflection to inform the future of what living in Rogers is like to them in 2021. All approved submitted entries will be printed and bound in a book to go into the time capsule.

The Time Capsule Committee asks that the public focus their reflections upon the current events that have significance within Rogers. A broad range of information about world events will be well documented in newspapers and other media, whereas personal insights to what life was like for people in Rogers in 2021 won’t be as readily available. Submissions due by May 10, 2021.

    Maximum 200 words
By submitting, you agree that your written reflection is original and related to the topic. The Time Capsule Committee reserves the right to remove submissions that are in conflict with its standards. Submissions that are offensive or those that promote a service or product will not be included in the 2021 Time Capsule.

The time capsule ceremony will take place at the newly completed Railyard Park on Saturday, June 5th at 2 p.m. during the Founders' Day event. The time capsule is to be opened in 2081 for the Rogers Bicentennial celebration.
