VOLUNTEER

Volunteers are vital in supporting the Museum's work. They assist with everything from giving tours and helping with special events to working in the Museum garden. We are not currently accepting applications while we are closed. Please check back for information about reopening. When we do reopen we will be specifically looking for:
Research Library Assistants:
Assist researchers in their quest for general historical or family information. Experience or strong interest in genealogical research is important. Understanding and commitment to museum policies and rules is required.
Museum Tour Guides:
Seeking volunteer tour guides with experience or strong interest and willingness to learn local Arkansas history. Good speaking skills, an outgoing personality with ability to provide visitors with an educational and enjoyable experience is a plus. An understanding and commitment to museum policies and rules in required.
Museum Receptionist/Gift Shop:
Duties would include greeting visitors, professional phone etiquette, provide directional information at front desk in main exhibit hall. Responsible for sales in gift shop with experience or strong interest with willingness to learn basic retail skills including primary bookkeeping. An understanding and commitment to museum policies and rules is required.
